How We Rate and Scam Warning Signs

## What we do
Telsynk is a review directory of Telegram channels for Malaysian users. We publish user experiences after admin moderation. We do not audit the profit or loss of any signal and we are not investment advisers.

## How ratings work
- A rating is the average of the stars from approved reviews.
- A rating is shown only after at least 3 reviews are published.
- The "Top rated" order uses a weighted average so a single five-star review does not outrank a channel with many reviews.
- Each account can write one review per channel.

## What we check
- The channel link is a valid public Telegram link.
- Reviews follow the Review Guidelines: no defamation, spam, personal data or undisclosed paid reviews.
- "Reachable" means the Telsynk bot could access the channel at the last check. It is not proof that the channel is legitimate or profitable.
- "Owner verified" means an admin has reviewed an ownership claim. Owners cannot edit or delete reviews.
- Channels with a private invite link are listed only if the submitter confirms the owner allows the link to be shared and an admin reviews it. Telegram reachability is not checked for private channels.

## Warning signs before you pay
- Promises of fixed profit or "guaranteed wins".
- Pressure to deposit or buy VIP quickly.
- No verifiable signal record, or only selected screenshots.
- Asking you to send money to a personal account or through a broker you do not know.
- Dodging questions or deleting comments that ask them.
- Claims of "insiders" or secret strategies.

## Check before you invest
In Malaysia, activities such as giving investment advice or managing funds usually require a licence from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). Check the SC Investor Alert List at https://www.sc.com.my/investor-alert before you pay or deposit money. The list is not exhaustive, so a name being absent is not a guarantee of safety.
